Recreational Ice Dance League

The dances for the 2010 season have been drawn and most of the dates have been fixed.

2009 was our first season in the League and the team did extremely well (see below).

Sunday, June 6^th 4:00 to 7:00	Deeside	Golden Skaters Waltz, 14 step, Starlight Waltz
Saturday, June 12^th 5:00 to 8:00	Hull	Novice Foxtrot, Hickory Hoedown, 22-step
Sunday, July 11^th 4:30 to 7:30	Sheffield	Canadian Cha Cha, Fiesta Tango, Silver Samba
Saturday, August 14^th 5:00 to 8:00	Nottingham leg (to be held at Hull)	Canasta Tango, Tenfox, Rocker Foxtrot

In the 2009 season, our first of Recreational Ice Dance competition, we finished a close second behind Deeside for the Skating trophy but WON the overall trophy (for skating plus bonus points); for the record, Deeside were second for overall points; Hull and Nottingham came third and fourth respectively.

The Northern League team came 4^th in the Junior section, 3^rd in the Intermediate and 2^nd in the Senior.
