The objective of the Club is the promotion of Ice Dance and Figure Skating, including Synchronized Skating. The Club is affiliated to the National Ice Skating Association of the United Kingdom (NISA) and membership of the Club is open to eligible persons as defined by NISA.
The Club raises funds to be used for the development and promotion of ice skating including off-ice training, bursaries, training equipment as decreed appropriate by the ice Sheffield Skating Academy Committee.
Membership comprises the following categories:-
Junior (under
18) Active Membership non-voting (must be NISA member)
Senior (over 18) Active Membership with voting rights (must be NISA member)
Senior Non Active Membership with voting rights
All members are eligible to:-
- Take part in
Club run events such as closed competitions or training sessions
- Skate in team events
- Attend Club social events
